Rescheduled date to be confirmed – Skidby Village Hall HU16 5TG

The rainforests of Costa Rica have a reputation for being amongst the most biodiverse places on earth. It will come as no surprise to people who know me, and my love of wildlife, that it’s been one of my ‘bucket list’ destinations for many years.

In 2023 I bought a suitably expensive wildlife lens and booked myself onto a flight to San Jose last November with the aim of exploring the region’s rainforests, accompanied by my brother, Jonathan.

‘Ten days in the rainforests’ is an illustrated story of my encounters with wildlife at the end of the rainy season that culminated in three nights at a Ranger Station, waking up to the sound of Howler Monkeys in the Corcovado National Park – one of Costa Rica’s most pristine rainforests on the remote and rugged Osa Peninsula.

Tickets for the talk (pay at the door) are £5.00 (adults) and £2.00 (VPS members/Students)
