Reginald Van de Velde: ‘Memento Mori’

Monday 6th March 2023 (7.00pm) via Zoom

On Monday 6th March we welcome (via Zoom) award-winning Belgian photographer, Reginald Van de Velde.

Reginald specialises in photographing unconventional architecture. He seeks out and captures ruins and abandoned places that take us on a journey through a world of dystopian dreamscapes. Reginald finds tranquility, beauty and wonder in the patina of dereliction and abstract patterns of forgotten grandeur. His work has been recognised internationally, with multiple achievements and accolades.

“As a photographer I scout the unknown and the unseen. Escapism is at the very heart of my work. In a world that’s too chaotic and fast-paced I try to find solitude and peacefulness. Forgotten places and remote locations prove to be the perfect oasis for such reflection.

Join me on my journey finding lost beauty and forgotten magnificence.”
